spending time with my best friend is the best. I wish she didn't have to work so much while she was here... but that's also what brought her here, so i am thankful. she leaves tomorrow :((
Reading "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer the past few weeks has honestly been one of the most uplifting, humbling, eye-opening, amazing experience. and I'm only on Chapter 5 (out of 22). It's just insane.
I want to get re-baptized for sure within the next few months - i was as a baby (grew up in the Catholic church) but i don't really believe that it counts, not in the way that i want to dedicate the rest of my life to Christ, live each day by His Word. I want to declare to the world, to my friends, to my family, to the church and to God that JESUS IS MY EVERYTHING. And I'd love to have that done once i move to LA in May @ Grace Community Church. I was kind of wrestling over whether to get it done at my church here or there, and i would like to get it done as soon as possible - but I'd also love to share this celebration with people I'm really close to along with in a Church that is going to hold me accountable and where i plan on residing as soon as i move. When Angel brought me to Grace over winter break it was just a perfect fit... i instantly felt so welcomed and in my heart i knew it was a church and a community that i would like to be a part of.
I miss my family like crazy .. especially my Dad. It's going to be very hard once I'm in Los Angeles to be farther away from them, Thank the Lord for technology - ie. Video chat. i don't know how I'd get by without it. March is going to be a wonderful month i get to see Angel and my family over spring break + Mine & Angel's birthdays :)
k more later.
LOVE.

Blessed
I hardly ever use this thing.
And now it is almost pointless since my best friend got me an Amazing new journal for Christmas. which i LOVE.
- It has license plates all over the cover = because i love traveling. duh. she knows me too well.
But i guess that journal is just for me and on here everyone else can know what I'm thinking...
good thing? bad thing? haven't decided but i think ill make an effort to do it more often.
Currently reading: "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer which has been so Amazing. There really is no way to describe the overwhelming feeling of getting to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each paragraph is so eye-opening and heart-wrenching. I highly recommend it. It is also pretty amazing when i get to share this experience with someone who the Lord has undeniably placed into my life. It's crazy when you receive a friend who just makes you a better person and puts you in a good mood on a daily basis.
We are all blessed in Jesus Christ! -Blessed is a big word, and shows up very frequently in regards to God. Three times in one verse actually. We talked about this in church this week.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)
Blessed can be seen 3 ways in the greek language like it is in this verse.
1. Blessed - Eulogetos = to give praise
2. Blessed - Eulogeo = to be favored by God
3. Blessings - Eulogia = A benefit
I think that i wan't to get a tattoo of number 2. Eulogeo. To be blessed/favored by God. HUGE and AMAZING.
obviously i need to think about it more though. i love tattoos.
On another note: My Spring semester of school has started. - I just switched my major to Criminal Justice (in my last semester) so that i could graduate on time. I'm really enjoying it actually. I always liked Criminal Justice - which is half of what Forensics was. Now I am going to graduate on May 14, then have to take two summer classes till the very beginning of July. That's CRAZY - like I am going to have a bachelors degree from Loyola University this summer. Where did the time go???
This also means my plans to move to Los Angeles will actually become a reality in July.
WOW.
The only thing I'm not ready for is to be farther from my family. I miss them enough as it is and im not even 6 hours away.
Most of my friends know, one of my guilty obsessions is the disney channel & abc family. I'm not ashamed. I just started watching a new show called "Make it or Break it" on ABCF and its soooooooo good. i LOVE it. ;p
ok enough.
this has been an update of my scattered thoughts for the moment.
